GT Mace Case

The Ceremonial Mace used in graduation ceremonies was designed by Cabell Heyward for its initial use in the 1988 commencement exercises.  From that time until this case was designed and crafted by Alan in 2005, the Mace was stored in a less than appropriate container.  This case was designed to safely store the Mace, but to also serve as a display case when not in use.  Crafted of maple and mahogany solids, the classically designed case features the history of the Mace as well as the unversity seal engraved into the lid.
