Sharon Morrow- Parkview Performing Arts "Alan took on a project from the Parkview High School PTSA.  Our organization wanted to fund the renovation of the podium that is used primarily in the PHS theatre.  The unit was over 10 years old and was in bad shape.  An option on the table was to scrap it and purchase a brand new podium.  Alan assessed the job and concluded that he, in fact, could add luster to the piece as well as add some new functional features.  We had a deal!  What we received in the finished product was a spectacular restoration of the PHS podium.  The rich mahogany finish looks brand new.  The features added- wheels with stops, a light, and a goose neck mic stand make the piece not only great looking, but more enjoyable and easier to use.  The best news is that the administration at Parkview High love it and, more importantly, it will be a podium that will be used for another decade or more.  It was certainly worth the investment.  Alan is a craftsman and his work is evident in the PTSA podium project."
